CRUISIN!

Tommy and Jilly came to see us in Vienna! We had soooooo much fun. We honestly never stop laughing when we are with them. They arrived on a Friday and then we took off to Venice the very next day. We stayed a night there and then boarded our ship for a 7 day Mediterranean cruise. Almost every day we stopped in a new port. The first stop was Bari, Italy followed by Olympia, Greece!

CROATIA!

Over Easter weekend some friends invited us to go along with them on a road trip to Croatia. It has been on the top of our list of places to visit so we were definitely in. We rented a big van, packed a lot of treats, grabbed our passports and took off Friday morning. It only took us about 6 hours to get to Croatia. The first night we stopped in the city Pula, then made our way to cities Trogir and Split. It was a little rainy and overcast, but on Sunday afternoon the sun came out and it was gorgeous!

 View from our house. We rented a flat from the nicest old Croatian man named Felix. He was so sweet, brought us fresh pastries for breakfast and said next time we could go stay for free. :)

Saturday night we were in Trogir. We walked into town and saw everyone walking out of the city square with baskets covered in a white cloth. Krista went and asked a lady what was going on and she explained that everyone just went and had their Easter dinner blessed by the priest at church and they were now all going to eat together. What a cool tradition!

A lot of it reminded me of Venice....little alley ways you could walk around and get lost in. Eric actually did get lost, only for about 30 minutes but I was not happy haha.

We loved hanging out with Krista & Jason and Shanna & Brad for the holiday weekend, and we LOVED Croatia. We want to go back when it is nice and sunny!
